After a while away thought it was time another fazer was in the stable .. Had a boxeye, then a fox eye, then an FZ6s.. The FZ6s was my fave of the bunch so picked up another albeit in a different colour .. cheers John
Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it...
Any chance you can share your experience comparing fox eye with FZ6 in terms of engine, weight of the bike and how it feels in bends, and overall ride?

Welcome back! nice shiny example. Have previously owned 1 x FZ6, 1 x FZS 1000, 2 FZS 600 Foxeyes. Currently own FZS600S Boxeye. Think its time to stick with this one! :lol
Thanks for the positive comments on the bike.. Loved both the boxeye and the foxeye I owned. Only the styling separated those two as both were 2002 bikes. The foxeye was great right up until I parked it next to a friends fazer thou :eek.. The fz6s was a totally different animal to own and ride. Styling was up to date and suited me as a taller rider. Cold mornings and fuel injection are great. Compared to the other two it feels taughter through the quicker twisty corners. I would have liked at least preload adjustment at the front but can live without it. I also prefer the wider wind protection given by the more substantial fairing. The underseat exhaust does limit storage back there but is sufficient space to carry a tool kit and essentials. It is also great to see a decent width rear wheel rim and 180 tyre. Iv had bigger cc bikes over the years and hasn't really desired the thou fzs. Several friends ride the bigger version but I am a fan of revs and using a gearbox. The fz6s has all that I need..
