Hello from Perthshire
#1
Hi all,
Fell in love with an FZS600 before I had passed my test. She's been waiting for me patiently in the garage for 2 years, so has my bike licence. A winter passed then another one then I finally started riding in May. Not sure why I waited that long, what a waste of time!!!!

Although my Fazer came with some extras, she looks pretty basic in comparison to most I've seen on this site. Some crazy pics on 'show me your Fazer'  :eek  Mine's got a long way to go before she's ready to be in the spotlight.

She's just recently got new downpipes, getting some funky levers next week, apart from that she doesn't look special but she's very special to me Smile

Great site, hope to meet some of you on ride outs.

Cheers, Amy

Greetings Amy....welcome along...you are right this place is great and the FZS600 is also a great bike.....was my first bike and with the help of this lot i had it looking smoking hot......shame i crashed it really as i then started looking at other bikes & ended up with a FZ1 & after a season on that ive now actually ended up with none other than a TRX like your elder.....although it is a custom job.

Dont pay any attention to CC......your FZS will thrash the TRX in most ways except perhaps the low down grunty overtakes....i love my trx but ive gotta admit i miss my original FZS.....im just too stubborn to have the same bike twice now.

Hope you enjoy it, very capable bike and you have the best roads on your doorstep. 8)

Cheers Noggythenog Smile
The TRX was my hubby’s beloved bike… Still brings a tear to his eye as it was written off 2 months later thanks to a dodgy driver  Sad
My FZS600 is a toy in his eyes for a reason: just imagine a 6.5ft guy on a lowered bike Big Grin lol
But I’m loving my Fazer, look forward to get some work done and make her pretty for the next season Smile

Welcome aboard Amy Smile

Pity you missed out on our last run http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,18229.0.html but hopefully arranging more, weather depending, for rest of season, failing that, there will be more next year for sure Smile

Most will, but I always keep mine ready for a wee blast on a Saturday or Sunday at short notice as you never know what the weather's going to be :b
