Thundercat clipons begining to p me off
#1
Lesson learned today, before purchasing new parts to modify an existing component, strip said component and check exactly how its made......... Dumb mistake and it was obvious as soon as I started to strip it....... :o

So back to the standard Thundercat bars. I still don't understand why they're so short. I thought it was because they'd been cut down for track use or something but it wouldn't be possible without to much work, and after stripping them I don't believe they've ever been apart, grrr.

Anyone have a set they can measure from clamp to end of bar?

Yeah and thats where the problem was. I couldn't see where they had been cut until I saw a standard bar end, then it was obvious. The previous owner had cut off the part where the shoulder on the bar end fitted leaving just the thread showing, thats what confused me. Thought it must be the end of the bar, and it was, but not as Yamaha designed itĀ  :o
