either it's the culture at HRC or the mindset of a top racer but HRC seem to employ quite a few 'but it's not fair!!!!!' types.
from fast freddie to mick doohan to casey stoner to biaggi to gibernau to pedrosa and now marquez has caught the bitch bug.
or is it simply a case of they can give it, but not take it?
now the yamaha is pretty sorted and a match for the honda i can see marquez 'falling apart like a cheap watch!' TM K. Schwantz
The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people's money!
His biggest problem is that Rossi now knows his weak point and how to get inside his head and knows how to beat him. The pressure of appears to be getting to Marquez and he has let it show. Did he honestly think that Rossi was going to back off, many other riders would have, but not Rossi. If he did think Rossi would back off then he has learned nothing in 2 years in Motogp. :eek
I was surprised that he complained because if the roles were reversed he would have done the very same to Rossi. :eek
The one thing I have always admired about Rossi is he does not complain about others if he is beaten nor he does not whinge about the machinery (compare him to Cructhlows Ducati whinging and Rossi when he was with Ducati. :rolleyes
Whinging will not adhere you to fans (Stoner was a classic example) and Rossi is a master of getting fans on his side. He is one of the best I have seen at playing the crowd, even way back when he thumped Biaggi on the stairs he showed Biaggi that he was not a one to take crap from anyone on or off the track. He is a household name probably more than the likes of Joey Dunlop and Barry Sheene were.. Watching him speaking to Suzi Perry at Goodwood today and seeing fellows like Ken Block (who himself is a master of the media and playing the crowd) looking to have a selfie taken with him shows the shear popularity of Rossi.
Marquez would be well advised to learn from Rossi and not just be good on the track, but just as good off it.
it only seems to be this year that marquez is moaning.
I've always thought him a good egg, like Rossi because he loves the sport and understands that things get a little bit close every now and again but "That's racing". He always seemed to enjoy a bit of duffing up, both given and received.
Shame if he is starting to moan. :\
Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys beer, and that helps!
he's moaning because he isn't winning bit like lorenzo does when he isn't in form.
