Newbie from Lancs

Hello folks,
Just bought my first Fazer today, an early 6000 in red. It's a bit tatty and in need of some TLC but that's ok, the price was right 
The plan is to tidy it up and use it as a cheap hack while out with the missus on her 125 (just passed her CBT and getting some experience) then she can pootle about on it once she's passed her test.
My other bike is a GSXR 1000 but that's going in a few weeks to make way for a new Panigale 


Hope to get some good tips and info from you all, and maybe I can help someone out too.

Sounds like a proper collection of bikes at your house, superb.

You'll probably find yourself heading out on the Fazer more than the Gixxer as you get her built, the really are that much fun!

So where abouts in the red rose county are you? I'm near Blackpool. 8)

I'm between Blackpool and Preston, and yes a ride out sometime would be great 

Just noticed too that my first post says I've bought an early 6000 Fazer! No it's not had a 6 litre V12 conversion, just a typo, lol.
