Does look good having a light in the box, but guess as long as I show extra lights, and if I can figure out how to mount the light I've got it'll be on there even if I take off the topbox.

not sure on legality of them so id suggest unplugging for mot as i will with mine
no ce mark and all that.
All marked and above board Paul, wouldn't be a problem with mot.
All my previous bikes that have had this light on there's been no problems at all, I've also ran HID'S on other bikes and never had any hassle, either from mot's, other drivers or even the police and I've travelled behind many of them and even towards them and never been pulled over for making myself visible basically. So all I need now is my bulbs and I can maybe see in front of me at night and others will see me too :-)

ahh thats great then!
maybe look into the spots i linked rather than expensive bulbs, same cost but proven to work amazingly, if youve got a bit of cash to throw around its not a problem, i sunk so much into mine after restoring then a new engine, got new bulbs that made no real difference but spots have worked.

I maybe didn't put it across too well....
I've already got the ballasts for the hid's all I need are the actual hid bulbs, and they are only going to cost in the region of £25, much the same as for two Nightbreakers etc so think I'll be getting the hid's as they are far better lighting in my opinion :-)

You've saw my wee running lights I've put on? Them along with hid's will be good I'm sure.
I was at work today and asked my boss to tell me if my new brakelight was bright, our car park is pretty far away from his office, so I called him as I put the brakes on, his words were "fek, you'll not be missed with that" so pretty pleased it's really bright even in bright sunshine from the distance he saw it at :-)
