[help] Need to know how much downpipe wrap to buy

Ahoy all. About to purchase heat wrap for my downpipes, but don't know how much i'll need. Hoping one of you have wrapped your pipes and can help.

Currently looking at a 10m roll at 2in wide/2mm thick.
I have the standard pipes on my 5DM1.

Ive never wrapped pipes, but 10m, would leave 2.5m per pipe, which is about 8feet. that seems more than enough to me!

I dont get the whole exhaust wrapping thing, unless you like the look

Well, i do like the look, and it'll also protect the pipes throughout the year. I'll buy myself 2 rolls (20m total) just to be safe.

Will this not increase the air in the cylinder via "improved" valve scavaging , thus Madge you run lean. You'd need to change a few things to balance everything out?
