WANTED: Clear lens tail lights

Hi,
I've just installed clear lenses onto my indicators and they look good....it will look better if the tail light was also clear lensed.
So, does any one have any clear lens tail light to sell?

I bought those for my 600 and they fit fine, I will eventually get them for my 1000 as well. I also like to buy silver bulbs too so you dont get the "fried egg" look, but thats maybe just me

Totally agree with the fried egg look, have chrome bulbs in the bmw too

To add, I'd also like to shorten the rears some how to make them stick out less. Do fronts also fit the rear?

I dont think so, no. the lenses are interchangeable, but not the stalks as far as I know (not without modifying them at least?)

Perhaps I'll try this, I'd have thought others would have done this by now though lol

I think most guys who want shorter ones just change out the whole unit for smaller ones generally as its less hassle.

Yeah I guess. I've got some LED ones coming anyway but not convinced they'll look good or be half as bright, I guess I'll try them out as they were only so cheap

cant remember now if the pins are offset or not. either way, you can get the correct ones from ebay

Yeah eBay ftw, all my little bits like that come off there, make sure you get ones from UK only, otherwise you can wait absolutely ages for them to arrive for virtually pennies different on the the price!
