Back Garden Hunter
#1
Wow. That's something you don't see too often in your back garden! Just stepped outside to have a quick fag, and disturbed a Sparrowhawk that was busy ripping up it's prey on the patio! Judging by the somewhat bloody feathers now scattered around, I think it must have taken a pigeon. I've seen one dive onto a small bird in the garden before while I was quietly sitting outside in the evening earlier this summer, but I must have nearly trodden on the thing this time!
Anybody else had such encounters on their doorstep?

Faggot, often shortened to fag, is a pejorative term broadly meaning an effeminate gay man or homosexual.

Doesnt help that you put it under the title of `Back garden hunter`!!!!  :rollin :rollin :rollin

Doddsie, I have only two points to make about your statement.

1. If that's what you think, you were bloody quick to look at the post after I put it on here
2. That statement says more about the way your mind works than it does about mine

When I used to have a fag I didn't have a garden as I lived in a terrace house so I had one up the back alley. :eek

Anyway, back to the wildlife. :lol
I've never seen a sparrowhawk catch anything, but have seen them hurtle past the house a few times. Gone in a split second, they're incredibly fast and manoeuvrable... a real thrill to see.
