Question About Ivanising
#21
Sorry for saying brilliant alot :\
Forgot to add, I use mine for taking the missus long rides and the added torque and midrange is even more useful, and the smoothness makes the ride nicer, meaning you can cruise along with ease.
On your own and when you want a good blast, the power is awesome, it just wants you to keep feeding the gears in. :lol

List of Ivans carb kits and remaps here - http://www.ivansperformanceproducts.com/carbs.htm

Not sure about your 02-03 600, but I think it's the same engine and set up as my old 99 600.  They run on the rich side, nice and smooth too, so not quite the same need to re-jet.  I had a can and a K&N on mine, that's the one thing I miss about my old 600, boy was it a screamer, what a racket.

If you get hold of a gen1 that's not had it done (loads and loads have), well it's a must do mod, never mind the extra power, it just makes so much smoother and nicer to ride.

+1 to all of the above Smile
Did my own Ivanising and can only add what others have said is absolutely true and matey boy down the pub was talking through his big fat hairy ringpiece! Got the slip-on kit at the mo, might go Full Monty at some time just because, but will probably get that done by the Ivanater on one of his future trips over.
Even so, cant fault it, smoother, starts easier, picks up better, no flat spots, excellent Smile Smile
Its better to ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake.
