Probably been covered a thousand times but are there any improvement that can be done to improve both these?

Install a Power Commander III and you'll get much better throttle response and fuel economy too :thumbup

Just had the bike serviced by Carl Harris and what a difference, the gear change is noticeably better, power delivery is still jerky but that's something I'm learning to deal with, I found the best thing is to keep it in a lower gear and keep the power on Smile

Get it remapped if possible, or buy a PC3 and get that mapped if not - you'll have more power, and a much, much smoother ride, with no need to ride around fuelling issues

The gearchange will improve with age, but I find that doing clutchless up changes are more positive, that is use the clutch between first and second and 3rd, then clutchless on 4th, 5th and 6th!
