98 fazer fzs 600 for sale

hi guys im sadly having to sell my 98 600 ( see gumtree ad 1009211094 for few pics and more details) it rides spot on ,looks good with a few small marks here and there as expected for age,good service history and service by myself around 500miles ago,great tyres,long mot ,extras etc,sad sale but need the space for yet another classic coming my way! bike is in hull east yorkshire ,i welcome any views,questions etc

Here's the rest of the details:


for sale my 1998 yamaha fazer 600,great bike for fun sunny days,touring or the ride to work,this bike is in very good condition but has the odd mark etc so not mint but rides realy well and is very comfy(i bought this after having back problems on my last bike and this is a joy to ride!) extras include a rear rack and topbox(original grab rail also included )carbon effect brake and clutch levers(original included),rear hugger that not only looks good but stops lots of dirt on rear of bike!stainless radiator guard,the exhaust system is full stainless steel with carbon fiber end can(road legal and bs stamped unlike most!)
there is the original tool kit,owners manual,service book (stamped at 495,4290,8421,9222,16507,20551,24717 and 26908) i serviced the bike at 35200 with new oil,oil filter,air filter,spark plugs,new rear brake rebuild with new seals,pads and stainless hose, also fitted were a pair of new tyres(maxis) so tyres etc are only 500 miles old!
also included is a haynes manual,cd manual and a few old mots etc
the mot is till oct 13th 2013 but bike on sorn (i dont ride in winter!)
sale due to lack of space as getting a classic motorbike


Oh and it's located in Hull by the look of it!  Commission gratefully received!

Tidy bike that, especially that torque arm. shame I'm not in the market cos I'd probably have it. Out of interest, what's the mileage?

cheers guys,rob the torque arm realy makes the difference dont it its a nice bike but not mint  and rides realy well,il be sad to see it go as does every thing well but space is very limited so something has to go for my new toys(selling a classic  scooter  as well)its done aprox 35700 miles but almost full service history,wants nothing doing apart from tax  and to be enjoyed

Hi, I'm in the market for a 600 for my fella. How much of the service history do you have? Do you know when the tyres, chain and sprockets, oil and filters, spark plugs, brake pads and valve clearances were last sorted?

hi heather- s ,your welcome to pop over or give me a ring,iv got the service book wich take the services till 27k then owner i got from did oil,filters etc and i did same (oil,air filter,oil filter,coolant change ,plugs,check over,new pair tyres,rebuilt back brake wit new seals and pads and stainless brake line ,fronts were checked and were fine around 500mile ago,i didnt check valve clearance but my mate(who races bikes) said there were no valve or nasty noises etc,the chain and sprockets should do another year(depending on how many miles you do!) but there not new
any other info you need just ask mate
