New member looking for an early Fazer 1000
#1
Hello,

I owned a fazer 600 several years ago and I now have been thinking about buying an early Fazer1000  Smile

I have always liked the look of them and the awesome R1 derived engine!

Are there any major problems with these bikes? I have heard that the finish can be a bit suspect and the exup valve can cause problems?

I'm only looking for models from their introduction in 2001? up to the FZ1 model can you tell me about any differences and mods between the models?

Thanks guys!  Smile

The bikes all look good with low mileage. If u really want a bike u must ride itfirst mate. Chat to the seller and if its a pretty sure thing get a megabus ride it back.

I have found an absolute minter on Gumtree  Smile  it's had 2 owners from new the original owner had it for 11 years!! and was very anal about cleaning it!

It's in blue ( my favorite R1 blue not the darker one) on a Y plate 26,000 miles service history.

I was going to pick it up on Saturday from Bristol but it's going to snow!!  :'(

I would post a pic but not sure how to?
