just joined forum today and thought it best to be polite (very unlike me!) and write a brief hello.
Got my 2001 FZS1000 about 6 weeks ago having swapped and sold my way through 12 other bikes over the last 2 years. Been riding for 30 years but have no intention of becoming sensible anytime soon!
Loving the bike so far...reg is Y92BAA in case anyone on here knows it?

can't drag myself off ebay since I bought it and have treated it to a bellypan, bagster seat, frame plugs, tank and yoke protector! There are a few more things in my watch list too (much to the wife's dismay!)
looking forward to a long relationship with this one (previous bike only lasted 2 weeks before I was bored!)

Yes, I know your bike well.  It lived in my garage in Spain for over a year before the previous owner brought it back to the UK for sale.

It has been Full Monty 'Ivanised' by me and I did all the other mods to the bike as well.
