Beavy Duty bike cover
#1
I've been searching for a while now, but not having much luck .So can anyone recommend a the above type cover with the following -
  • cover's all of the bike all the way down to the bottom of the front wheel.
  • has a elasticated front and rear sections that will hug the front wheel and atleast try to do the same with the rear.
  • has eyelets in plastic rather than metal in the front with hole at least 20mm
  • had a inner liner to protect from scratches and has a rear section that is heat resistant
  • has straps/clip at either end of the cover NOT in the middle.
  • plain black or some other dark colour with either minimal or no brand or logo.
  • with more than 1yr warranty.

Have you considered a bike barn?

Yeah, it would be convenient to be able to ride in and out, but too conspicuous and too pricey.

Unfortunately no, because -
  • has no eyelets
  • the strap is in the middle, rather than the ends.
  • Only comes with a 1yr warranty.

I wish I could remember who made it, but I got a cover at the NEC show about 5 years ago. I don't iike the usual belly-strap, so they made me one with a drawstring round the bottom, and could have put eyelets in if I'd wanted.
If you're going to any of the shows, look out for a firm who just do covers, and ask if they can make what you want. I remember they didn't charge any extra for it.
