tire pressures...
#1
what do people run front and back?

I've just put some more air in front and back, up to the recommended 32/36 front to back. Feels a lot more direct. Is the back too high for when it gets warm on the motorway?

Comments appreciated,

Cheers,

Phil

nah you won't have any problems sure that's what the manual recommends isn't it?

I stick to 36f/42r but then i'm no featherweight, i always have a half loaded large topbox, and occasionally carry passengers, so that works fine for me.

I have 33 38 (back box)

What you have in is the manufacturer's recommended pressures when cold so they are designed to increase in the heat or at speed. Panic not!

36/40 on Mr Bridgestone's recommendations (90Kg rider weight)

yeah those are the pressures in the manual. Just thought I'd gather some different options. I weigh 12 stone and carry a small bag but little else so they probably don't need to be any higher.

Interesting how much of a difference the pressures make, the front end was down at 26 when I checked it, feels a lot more direct now.
