scorpion end can

ive got a scorpion end can fitted to my thou,been on there since i bought it,but iam not to keen on it so i bought a standard one off ebay to see what thats like...went to fit it tonight,the end can came off no problem but i cant see how the link pipe is secured to the collector box as no clamp/bolt on there...is it just a push fit ?

Hi, just been and looked at mine, and the link pipe is part of the silencer, I've had it off in the past and put it back, it' s all one part.

The Scorpion link pipe will be push fit if you can't find a clamp bolt at the union with the collector box.

Standard can is one-piece, as you already know, and has a clamp welded to the link pipe.

cheers falcon.....i`ll have another go tonight,pretty sure its a push fit....bikes new to me so might have beed bodged with some sealer or something  :rolleyes

My link pipe just slotted on but I put some slots in and clamped it cos I like it to be secure, my original was one piece and also clamped on.  :rolleyes

hi violetsdaddy.....iam not sure if its for sale yet untill i try the standard can....its in excellent condition and i even have the original box....i`ll give you first refusal if i decide to sell

got the standard can on today,scorpion link pipe is a push fit no clamp.wriggled it up and down and from side to side and it slipped off....not ridden bike yet with standard can see what the weathers like tommrow
