Possibly mate. I have Mrs Gringo's old bike. about 80k (MAybe more, its a grey import and the mileometer is in Km, but the speedo dial is imperial, top speed reads 260 mph :lol ) on it Mk1. Weathered but still goes and was serviced and repaired by Stevie Brierton prior to my buying it. Its in Glasgow tho. Cam chain a bit rattly. In fairness it needs a service and new fork oil. Suspension linkage bearings were flagged at last MOT but still some life in em and as you probably know its easy to get a fairly low mileage linkage cheaper than it is to do bearings. I'm fitting a new avon storm 2 on saturday to the front and the rear has thousands of miles in it yet. Not even began to square off yet.

It haas a small oil leak somewhere around the sump but not excessive. Chain is ok, not had the sprocket cover off tho but can't hear the jingle jangle of the washer. Front lights have been modded and extra spotlights fitted. It has a small crack in the fearing where one of the indicators is mounted but not flappy or hanging off. It will need new pads all round within the next few thousand miles but discs are sound. It has heated grips wired up but no controller, easy fix, i just never got round to it. Scottoiler as well and it worked when i bought it and i'm sure it still does but i've got fuck all idea which bit is the arse and which bit is the shoulder.
It still shifts and i wouldn't be asking anywhere near that kind of money for it. If you bought it it would mean i could get my gixxer all fixed up and use it for commuting until i can afford a shitey wee 125 for going to work on.
