I'm Derek and on Thursday I bought a Fazer 600 from the year 2000 with only 3.5k miles and useful extras  from a single owner who loved it like a brother.


It has a problem with one or more of  the pilot jets being blocked/gummed up so runs like a single/twin till about 3k revs then clears its throat and runs normally, this will be sorted in due course. This bike is much more fun than my old Bandit!

fell on my feet there, I had just sold my previous bike for what I had paid for it (that never happened before!) And after looking for/at VFRs, Hornets, TDM/TRX and Sprint ST/RS the Fazer came up less that 2 miles away on MCN. The chap I bought it off had raced Nortons and Triumphs in the past and had bought the Fazer because of its frames resemblance to a featherbed........... I was going to try and negotiate down but when I saw it I did'nt have the heart, it is in lovely nick.
