FZS 1000 touring accessories for sale.. UPDATED some bits sold Price dropped on

I've sold my '51 FZS1000 to the trade. They didn't want to pay any extra for the extras so I put it back to standard and now I've got some interesting bargains - thought I'd offer these specific Fazer FZS1000 bits for sale here before Fleabaying them..


So, first off I have an MRA adjustable screen, good as new condition vast improvement on the stock screen.

Next we have a set of Arms and Base Plate to fit a Givi Monokey Top Box. These come complete with unique custom built powder coated tubular side pannier racks which take Givi Monokey cases. The racks fit over standard indicators and are in excellent condition. Cost me £250 all up. To you sir, £175.


STOP PRESS PRICE REDUCTION: As we have a very limited marketplace here i.e. Only FZS1000 Gen 1 Fazer owners who want to put Top Box & side panniers onto their bike.. and since this stuff is only going to collect dust in my garage unless it goes... How about this;

Buy the (excellent condition) Top Case mounting set for FZS1000 Fazer 01-02 Givi ref 348FZ/M5 (new price £88.66) for £75 and I'll throw in the custom made side pannier racks for another £25 - that's a bargain at £100 all in inc postage to UK Mainland..

 



Here is the bike fully loaded with 3 off 45 litre Gvi boxes - enough room for her shoes even!  :lol

Here is a view of the Near side pannier rack itself - note it fits to the Givi baseplate - so you need one of those if you want the pannier racks on their own..

Yes no problem, the side racks won't work without the arms and Givi base but if you already got those no problemo!


Getting tyres fitted this morning so out but will post some pics PM today. Have to work out a price for you. 


The rack are unique. I had them professionally made as there aren't (or weren't) any available commercially for FZS1000 Givi Monokey except the SW Mocheck pricey things..

So, as you can see from the Pictures I should've posted with the original posting  :o  the pannier racks are great bits of kit specifically made for FZS100 and take 45 Litre Givi Monokey cases no problem.  Think 36 litre cases may be a bit better (well, a bit slimmer) but - I've got 45's and there it is... :'(  I'd swap a pair of 45' s with matching locks for a pair of 36's ditto  if anyone is interested..  I think I'll start another thread on that.. :lol


Anyway  to price it up, I reckon £100 for the side pannier racks and fittings and £75 for the arms and Givi Base plate fixing sound about right.  What do you think?

:eek  How much? Have been quoted £120ish for new givi pannier racks. So to be fair £100 + a bit of postage is going to be pretty much what i can buy it new for. Yours do look very different only using one of the fixing points on the top box rack and how are they fitted to the base plate. I appreciate if you had it specially made it could have cost you more but balls in your court really. Would you reconsider the price ? Whatever the outcome thanks for your reply and stay safe.

Problem is the Givi & Kappa racks are 2003 onward at £110 ( these are to fit '51 plate ) Shad do them for (wait for it) £238 but that also moves he indicators meaning you cant take the racks off. Motech £184. Krauser (gulp!) £314 - lovely bits of kit though!


As you are a foccer, and these are no use to anyone who ain't a '51 FZS1000 owner yours for £75 - hows that sound?

Oh, and they fit to the baseplate via an angle bracket which you can't quite see in he second nor last pic... D'oh!

Thanks flymo, that seemed to clear that up, mine is a 2003 model so wont fit  plus i want to try and fit a set of v35's and have just found out i need to have a specific shaped rack for them (plx) or something. Thanks for your reply and good luck.

I edited the original posting to show a rprice reduction but editing the entry leaves the posting in it's original place in the listings so it looks like it isn't current..

It is still current  ! Top box and Screen are gone but Arms, Givi carrier and pannier racks are still available..

Price for arms and top box mount is down to £75 - they are like new.. the side pannier mounts that I had custom made I'll throw in for an additional £25 inc postage! 

Must be of use to some Foccer - it's summer - you need to go touring!  8)
