Came up for discussion many, many times on the old message board.

No facility for an exup valve, which despite the ad's blurb is actually a pretty useful item, at least on the Gen1.
Avoid unless you ride everywhere above 6000

Thanks, that confirms my suspicions. Oh well. i'll have to just find time to sort out my Exup valve or find someone to do it  Big Grin

This quote from the ebay page says enough about the pillocks trying to flog them
A common fault on the FZS1000 is corrosion of the Exup valve, resulting in blowing headers (mot failure ) and broken control cables from the valve seizing shut. Causing power loss and/or that annoying rattle from the valve. Our headers do away with the whole Exup housing and troublesome valve.

I had a left hand link pipe from them for my CBR1000F it wasn't the best made item but did the job.

Not sure if this is adding any value, but if its the same bloke that I'm thinking of, then he's a genuine seller whose been going for a few years, used to make the exhausts up himself but not sure if that's still the case. Don't know him personally, the brother of a mates ex!
