Anyone know the place and if it's any good?
Seen a car on the their webby that is what I'm looking for and at a bargain price.
Trouble is I'm a 5-6 hour round trip away and would try to buy it over the phone but need to know if they are honest with their descriptions or economical with the truth  :eek

Also they don't take cash, is there a way to pay em without it showing too much to her majesties finest?

They are not bad not pushy when you arrive, the girls give you a stock list and all the cars outside and normally unlocked. If its locked then it means one of two things either someone is doing a deal on the car at that moment or they just forgot to unlock it!!

they dont give top prices on trade in and do try and push finance ( but dont they all !)

didn't actually buy from them in the end but that's only because I changed my mind on what I was buying.

I used to live close to them so had looked at them a couple of times.

the cars are as described, however I personally wouldn't buy a car without a test drive or someone i totally trust test driving it for me!

We brought our car from them and its been a good one had it some years now. It was formally owned by west mids ambulance service. I got the impression that they buy former  fleet lease vehicles. so they have a good history and not to old.

Funny enuff I was only chatting to my mate at the NEC about them, as I too am looking (  being a cash buyer) for another car . They had nothing but praise for them. They reckoned they stock mostly good quality low mileage cars??
whereas tite wad here is  looking for maybe something a tad cheaper ( as I do very few miles a year , and keep me cars for 4 or 5 yrs).If you do go, let us know what u think.
cheers

Wow three replies and all good :lol

Cheers guys, still not sure about making the trip, but the car (a merc) is well cheap compared to the main dealers pricing and still has two years manufacturers warranty to run.
If it is OK it's the difference between a 60 reg or a local 08 plate car so even doing two round trips it's a no brainer but work and other commitments mean I can't get there for a couple of weekends though Sad

I've never bought a car off them so I can't comment there, but I have been a couple of times for a look around, and it's a great place to view many different types of car, which are generally unlocked. Staff seemed helpful rather than pushy, so yes, it's probably worth you giving them a call  Smile

I have just thought, they do not deal on there price it costs as stated. What they do do is send out £200 of vouchers to former customers I ve not got any at the moment but should some drop though my door I ll let you have them. It might be worth getting them to send you their catalogue it might well have some vouchers.
