Big favour wanted

If anyone out there has the capability to record MotoGP from Eurosport, and then copy it to a disc and post it to me, I would be very, very grateful. I only have the BBC option, but, as the commentary is shite, I would prefer the Eurosport version.
As everyone can imagine, Sunday's event is going to be a very emotional one, and I don't want my viewing of it to be f***ed up by an incompetent commentary team!!
If anyone can supply me with a copy of the race on disc, I will be very appreciative of it, and will of course cover all costs with a few extra beer tokens thrown in  Wink

Cheers in advance  Smile

I get eurosport and have a dvd which is supposed to be able to record.  i'll try and get it working, but no promises as i'm shite with things like that.  it plays dvds, but i've not tried to record.  i'll give it a go now and see how I get on.  I watched the second free practice today, and it was all wet so crap.    i'll let you know if i can get  it working

Have you heard about the tribute that is planned for him? I hope they'll show it but his father has asked for a minutes 'noise' instead of silence in honour of Marco and all of the Moto GP, Moto2 and 125's will be on track revving their engines in honour.

Sounds like a fitting tribute to Marco, I hope we get to see it

Thanks for the replies, it's only for tomorrow's race really, obviously there'll be lots of tributes for Simoncelli, and there is a chance that I'll miss part of the race due to family commitments, that's why I'm after a kind Foccer who can record it from Eurosport  Wink

I tried for an hour today to record, without success  :o , so not looking hopeful.    I think it might be due to the age of the dvd recorder and tv - about 4 years old/ten years old.  I found an extra scart lead an hour ago after wading through the ton of shite in the flat under the miscellaneous might be useful category and stored in plastic bags, so will have another bash tomorrow before the races.  But a foccer with eurosport and an up to date tv and recorder would be able to do it no problem.  DVD's are cheap as chips - I got 14 for under a fiver from Asda.

Hope you can get it sorted.

I'll be recording it but after a fruitless google can't find a way of getting it onto the PC. It seems the best way of doing this is to record with sky and then on play back use a DVD recorder to record to DVD. Unfortunately I don't have a DVD recorder so I can't help but thought I'd post the 'how to' in case someone else does.

Done it!! Big Grin  eurosport showed it again.  There are a few trial efforts at the start, but just to to the end and there she is.  I tink the dvd player is a bit dodgy or the scart lead as it took a while amount of fiddlng.  PM me your address and I'll get it off to you. The end of the race is great!
