LOFOs: Whitstable Toy Run December 7th
#1
The annual toy run leaves at 1 pm from the usual venue, which is Tankerton Road car park CT5 2AS, with folk arriving around 12ish and onwards.  The destination being the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate. You can either bring an unwrapped toy to suit up to age 16, or a cash donation can be made to the official collectors in the car park area. There is usually a tea/coffee/burger van on site if you’ve skipped breakfast.

Unless the weather is appalling, I'll be there :-)

Hi Robbo,

Weather is looking wet, but not horrific for Sunday. If you still fancy the Toy Run, what are you thinking in terms of meet times? You mentioned a breakfast before hand.

The bbc weather forecast is awful at the moment. I’ll make a late decision on Saturday I expect. I intend to go across country to Challock roundabout, then M2/Thanet Way to Tankerton. The cafe is the Seaview in front of Tankerton Bay sailing club. I’d aim to get to the cafe around 11:15/11:30. Doubt if I’ll go to Margate, more than likely swerve off to the Spoonies at Herne Bay
