hyperpro vs Ohlins
#1
Mary Christmas ? to everyone.!

Im thinking of purchasing front springs for my fzs 600 '03.
In my country where I live the price difference between the two is 40 euros the hyperpro more expensive,
not big deal tho.
Which one of these two is your suggestion and the reason why please so I can have a deeper knowledge of the difference between them.
My driving style is mostly solo in the city and a second person for 300~ km small trips.

Honestly, unless you're going to do track days or racing, there's not probably not going to be much difference for you if they're both designed for the same (or similar) weight range that covers both you and your pillion/ luggage.

It's better to get progressive springs for ordinary road use as they're designed to deal with those sorts of bumpy surfaces in mind, Linear springs work better for smooth track use as they will give a predictable response during straights and corners.

There's a lot more to suspension, of course, (preload, compression/ rebound damping, cartridge setups etc) but that's the simple version.

Ok...from a quick research that I did, many thinks that progressive is the way to go for my riding style,so +1 for the hyperpro then. Thanks for the response!

I found Hagon to be really good value and they will match springs to your weight, that is the biggest upgrade over stock, if I had the money would fit them and save up for a rear shock and spring matched to correct weight
