Thanks in advance

I dont know the brand but people have used LED's for hte following

Headlights - no mods needed
sidelights - no mods needed
tail/brake lights - no mods needed
instruments - no mods needed
indicators - either an LED specific flasher relay or resistors inline with the LED to slow down the flash rate

Just bear in mind if you're concentrating on the headlights then it's not the bulbs that are the issue but the reflective headlight casing that was a very poor design.

Indeed having taken mine apart the reflector is flaking and very poor design from the start, currently working on a budget projector retrofit will post if it works out.

The reflectors seem fine. Found a pair of H1 led bulbs for around £15. They're so much brighter than the original. Don't ride at night, just want to be more visible on the road

The reflectors are far from fine? Try them at night and you will see why!
Not sure what model of bike you have, which would be helpful, but none of them take a pair of H1 bulbs?

yes I thought the Box Eye had an H1 left side low beam and an H4 right side for Hi beam? (not used for low for some odd reason)
Fox Eye I thought had 2 H4s?

I had to ditch the reflectors as useless and go to a projector unit ( work in progress )

curious to know what model had twin H1 fitted?

The FZS400 uses a pair of funny bulbs that ate Jap specific 35w jobs from memory.
The box eye uses an H1 and an H4
The fox eye and 1000 use 2
two H4's

I am guessing buying 2 H1's was just because they were cheap, not to use both.

I know it doesn't use 2 H1 bulbs, the pack contained 2 H1 bulbs for a damn good price. Hope that clears things up

Well fitted a set of no brand LED Tail and Stop bulbs from amazon for £8.99 stayed white so the number plate light would not go red, small projector type with leds down the sides as well.

Wow they are bright on tail function and number light is twice as bright on brake function there is a noticeable difference very bright, makes the back end look way more modern

I used to have an LED tail light unit fitted, with added built in indicators, but got bored with the look so put the OEM unit back on and bought a bargain box of much brighter standard bulbs, which do work really well and are brighter than the LED unit.

I swapped the OEM incandescent rear light on my FZ6 for an LED unit after seeing someone else's and realising that their tail light was almost as bright as my brake light!

I use 2x NightEye H4 Hi/Lo 9000LM 6500K 72 W LED with no modification for my fzs 600 '03 and the difference is huge.
I had to lower the headlights as other drivers got blinded.

Yes I have used LedPerf and have bought H4 type, Indicator, Dash and Stop and Tail light bulbs from Ledperf for both  Fazers and both Serows.

There new Nano H4 will fit straight in without any modification. They are a few mm longer at the rear but that is it.
The only thing I had to do was tighten the female spades in the loom connectorts to ensure a good tight fit as the Leds bulbs need a tight fit.
The other bulbs I bought were a straight fit. I bought their two pin electronic relay for the indicators.

Bulbs are here https://www.ledperf.co.uk/nano-technolog...43291.html

They are Very good to deal with
