Riding style
#1
I am 71 so not quick and I have done advanced riding training but this is interesting

On a road I ride quite frequently it just so happens that on the same bend and some ten years apart I got photographed on my S2 and now on my SA

What surprised my was the lean angle and body position had not changed over all that time

Also still using my favourite riding gloves ?‍♂️

Yeah apart from you are going the wrong direction on the new photo  Lol

Seriously though I hope that I am still riding at 71 and I think your second photo shows that you have more "attack" on the bend than the before one. Your body position is a lot more aggressive than the first one that looks like you are "on" the bike rather than like now you are "with " the bike.
Maybe its just the differenced between inner and outer bend.
Why is there someone there taking photos - is it someone who knows its a good biker bend and can sell them on.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

The bottom one was ten years ago on my S2 and yes - same bend different directions

A company called bikerpics advertises on local Facebook where they are going to be on any sunny weekend and then out up hundreds of photos they have taken over the day. This time there was about 10 of me going and coming back but at £12.50 I only chose one

Thanks for the constructive criticism, always willing to learn

I have 1/2” or so chicken strips as the way I ride, I get around corners at the speed I go without needing to get too near the edge but would like to try

Forget it I wasn't trying to criticise - I was just chatting. Also forget "chicken strips" its a bad term and normal riding on normal roads will mean that you dont use all the tile also depending on the bike and tire size and also tire make due to its profile there will always be a bit left on the edge.
I once was at a bike meet and one chap I was talking to had tires that were fully worn at the edge even with bobbles, I commented how he looks like he has been having fun and it turns out he gets his tires from a mate who has used them on the track  Rolleyes

No seriously, I am still trying to learn, I have done ERS, bikesafe, IAM and anything else I can get in

I ride on my own now as I never know when I am free to ride and can’t keep up with the power rangers any more- well never could really but I enjoy my biking immensely
