A heads up to all who intend visiting North Wales roads this year. The ' Evo triangle ' is made up of sections of the A5, B4501, and the A543 in the Cerrigydrudion and Pentrefoelas areas of Conwy and Denbighshire. The cameras have been installed on the A543 near the Sportsmans Arms on Denbigh Moors - found to be the most dangerous stretch of the route. The system is currently being tested and is set to go live in coming weeks, meanwhile GoSafe speed vans will maintain a presence in the area.
There have been several fatalities and numerous serious accidents in recent years. Despite the authorities asking road users to drive and ride safely and within the speed limits this has fallen on deaf ears. I use these roads frequently and have witnessed many examples of suicidal driving and riding at high speeds. ' Boy racers ' having read about these roads in Evo magazine, who test drive cars here for magazine features, then bring their cars from far and wide to play at racing. As you say, vinnyb, people who think their skills are better than they are. My 'skills' are certainly limited, so I ride accordingly.

Wankers
Who? The ones who think they're better than they are, who go across there and wipe themselves out? If it's an accident black spot (which it is) they install cameras and then is spoils it for everyone who knows their limits and rides within them.

That’s just natural selection. Doesn’t mean the rest of us should have to suffer

Natural selection if you take the decision to ride/drive like that, what if they then hit an innocent road user?
