Bollox! (brake line)
#1
Ok so ive been an idiot, when beging a pad replacement half asleep i started to undo the brake line bolt instead of the caliper fastening bolt last night, only a small amount but a bit of brake fluid dribbled out onto the floor....
am i going to have to bleed the lines completely now ?

Repeatedly Hitting myself on the head with a wrench as i type this

Probably not.
The brake fluid will hopefully have come down from the reservoir rather than been replaced by air at the banjo.
It's easy enough to find out if the brakes need bleeding... if they feel spongy, they do.

Get yourself a £7 bottle of brake fluid and ask on here if anyone local to you has a bleed kit. It's not a 5minute job and I'm sure someone will help you. It wouldn't hurt to change the fluid periodically anyway.

Lol I did the same yesterday as well, the offside banjo when removing calipers to check the disc. Not a problem brake wasn't activated so no air was let in.
Seems I do need a new disc though, warped foccer  :eek  :'(

No providing you didn't pump the brake and the fluid hasn't/didn't empty in the master cylinder?
