Frame Lids

Hi Guys


Does anyone know what is behind the two frame lids please?  One on either side and on both the FZ8 and FZ8SA.  The w/s manual does not seem to mention them.  I presume that the two caps just flip off and behind them are two screw fixings? 


What I am doing is a bit of a long story.  I want to change my back tyre but the cursed ABS Rear sensor is seized inside it's housing (just like the front one was!) and I am considering unplugging the Rear ABS sensor coupler and pulling the cable right back instead of trying to prize out the sensor and risking damaging it.  If the coupler is behind one of these covers then it saves me a big job removing fairings, lifting the tank and removing the air filter case.


Any help appreciated.

Don't think there is anything behind them but frame, I think they are only there so your knees won't rub the frame paint off.

Thanks.  Seems a lot of trouble to go to though to avoid wear on the frame?  Ah well that answers that one.
