Looking for some recommendations for leather care products - cleaner & conditioner. I have been using Autoglym products which are about to run out so didn't know whether to get more of the same or if there was anything that was any better.
i used nixwax on my jacket and trousers , worked a treat .
Only ever put Dubin or Vaseline on my leathers and never had any probs.
I use leather balsam renapur
bought a tub from a country fair bout 10yrs ago and not even halfway down it!!
I use it on leathers
boots
etc!
It ain't what you ride, it's who you ride with!!!
a 2nd for Nikwax- but make sure you don't use it on the seat of your pants!
Am I the only one that doesn't do anything with my leathers.
But on the other hand anything I say has to be remembered in he context of ---- 1,500 miles per year in the dry !
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

You'll be pleased to know I ignored all your advice and have purchased some Skidmores Leather Cream after reading this article and finding positive reviews of the stuff online, I'll let you know what I think once it arrives.

I'm a fair weather rider also but by all accounts leather does benefit from aftercare, as with most things I'd find expensive to replace I tend to look after my bike kit in the hope that it lasts longer and continues to function as it should throughout its lifetime.
