Phone Charging 'On the Go'
#1
Just come back from a few days in Cornwall (long way back ) but got to wondering about phone charging whilst on the road. I have a cigarette lighter socket under the seat and one on the fairing infill.....but where to put the phone? Started thinking about a supply into the Givi back box but not wanting to drill into it.
So what do you do?

Ive got an ultimate addons kit that's ace! Had it on my 600 and was quick to swap it onto my 1000!

Phone charged better on the 1000 than the 600 though, wonder why  Big Grin

They also do a very good waterproof shock proof case that I use for the satnav..............

Me too. I got the bar mounted twin USB charger Ultimate Addons do. Good. Works. Love the way it lights up when you take the cap off and yet switches off the juice to the phone (or your camera) when the engine is off.

I've used the cheapo Chinese phone case off ebay until recently. Worked well for me every day for about 2 years. Kept all but the heaviest of rain off, and I plug the socket charger from the dash straight into it for charging.

+1 for the Ultimate Addons kit. Have the iphone waterproof case and charging cable. Gives me SatNav on the move.
