Hey everyone.
The name is Ed and I've just defected from a Kawasaki ZX9R to a 2009 FZ1S (pictured below)
First impressions of the bike are that it is just amazing. The upright position is a god send to the wrists, without any loss of speed or power. Loving the handling. It's infinitely more capable than my old ZX9. Low speed, round town riding is so easy, while motorway speeds are comfortable enough (maybe just a little bit more windy than the ZX9)
The FZ1S is tastefully modded, with a Power Commander V, a Carbon 'Scorpion' can, Touring screen, Heated grips, ASV levers, Scotoiler, R+G tail tidy and crash bungs. Sounds and rides awesome.
The bike is spotless. I seriously had never seen such a clean and tidy bike. Will be applying lashings of ACF50 in the near future, as I do intend to ride her through the winter.
It came with a set of colour coded Yamaha panniers (which I'm hoping someone here can advise me on how to fit)
The photos are from the original ebay ad, as I'm not much cop with a camera phone...
