bar ends as get too much shoulderwith the others but could possibly put up with it at a push however if bar ends look ok then dont have to lol

I know what you mean about shoulders in the shot, Keith.  However, I found bar ends required a conscious look down with the eyes to check behind, whereas with higher mounted mirrors, the view is pretty much within my peripheral vision anyway. 

I switched back to the stock mirrors after a year or so of bar ends and much prefer them, looks notwithstanding.
