Can't wait for Spring
#1
After finally becoming a Fazer owner last year, I can't express how much fun I have had on it. 2013 was full of camping trips, journeys to Scotland etc with my best pal, joined by his SV650; and man the Fazer can carry tons of luggage without effecting my comfort. Very impressed!!

With all that experience under my belt I can't wait to get to Spring 2014, throw my tent on the back seat and do it all over again!

+ 1 for that brother  Big Grin .

Funnily enough, my mate also rides an SV650.

Here they both are on our Euro tour in September last year. It feels so long ago  :'(

Roll on the sunshine and dry... And another Euro tour - Yeah!

That looks like an awesome trip. I've never done a continental trip before, but I am thinking of a California trip next year! I found that the SV650 and Fazer 600 complimented each other very well. Both equally matched on the open roads.

After only becoming a Fazer owner this year - I can't wait for the Spring /good weather either..........as I've just put my bike into storage until... March? April? :\
Paradox - A bit like paracetamol but different.

It was a great trip. Mainland Europe is great for the riding. They are bike friendly, not like here. California will be special. Such a big state with so many canyon winds and daisy dukes  Wink .

Never have steely. I have actually never been to the continent of America.

I have been in all the others, but not yet there. I imagine the US will be great for it. My friend moved from Italy to an island off the coast of LA. He said they are bike mad there. Sunshine and canyon roads = FUN!!!

Have you been watching Henry Cole's "Worlds Best Motorcycles Rides" on the Travel Channel 42 on Freeview. It's been on every weekday at 8pm and he has covered thousands of miles through the US of A.......it does look fantastic as does the rest of his worldly travels

About a month ago, I rode a harley for the first time - I was in florida, was almost rude not to! Over a couple of days, did just over 500 miles, and thoroughly enjoyed it - the riding, not so much the bike itself :rollin

That, and seeing Henry coles prog on riding California highway 1, has made me start looking, much sooner than I'd originally planned, at going over to the west coast :thumbup

I have driven the West Coast Highway (Highway 1) From LA to San Francisco it really is awesome, I am planning going back and riding it all at some point.
This is what you can expect.

Yeah I've been watching it. I do like the places he's been visiting but bloody hell he's boring. He makes watching paint dry seem like a high octane sport!
