FZ6 Givi Pannier Rack on FZS600
#1
This has most likely been asked before but if it has I cant find it. I want to fit panniers to my FZS600, but as the kits dont exist any more I'm struggling.

My bike already has a Givi 340FZ Monorack Top Box Rack fitted so I dont want to remove this to fit one of the Wingrack kits, so I was wondering if a pannier rack designed to fit an FZ6 (Givi PL351) could be gently persuaded (or man handled) to fit an FZS600. Does anyone have any experience of this?

This is the pannier rack I'm referring to:

Thanks for your help.

It'll be no where near close to fitting!

I would have thought the only issue would be the positioning if the pillion foot pegs and where the pannier rack connects into these, this is the bit I suggested might need a gentle persuasion. Surely the mount to the Monorack and the link across to the pannier rack on the opposite side would not be an issue.

You never know it might fit without too much bodging if you're lucky, but perosnally I'd wait it out for a wingrack or go with the SW Motech ones

I was in the process of buying a wingrack for the FZS600 only to get a call saying the bits were missing and he wasn't sure if it had come off a FZS600 after all. The shop I'm buying the bike off suggested I may be able to get someone to weld up a fitting kit.

If that's your thinking then a fitting kit from any of the thousands of bikes they have specific fitting kits for will fit our bike with a little gentle persuasion!
The fz is an entirely different bike to the fzs!
