Must be the K&N Wink

Just a question about the action of the choke lever...mine seems to do nothing until it gets about 1/2 through it's total travel.  It's not really an issue as I can still push it all the way and it revs up to 4k or so, just wondering if it's supposed to be that way.

I had an identical non-starting issue on the weekend after the bike was sitting for 2 months  :o  outside under a cover, the engine was turning over fine and lights were bright but no ignition.  I had horrible visions of fixing clogged carbs/checking sparks etc. in the dark by the side of the road but I bought an Oxford charger to give the battery a boost.  Started at the first press the next day...never again will I underestimate the importance of having a fully charged battery!
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines...
