Hope no foccers were caught up in this.

From the numerous other stories reporting cars driving without lights and at 'normal' speed, a timely reminder of the approaching winter and the need to drive/ride according to the conditions.

Shit....christo's and simon have been to sheppey...simon pulled in to sharpish and unluckily christo was behind....WALLOP!!

Just flapping about on this stagnant little pond on the outer rim of the internet.....yup....  :-))

Just another case of too many idiots driving too fast for the conditions and too close together.

I've looked at some of the reports and several people were saying that even though they managed to stop in time to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of them, someone else then ploughed into the back of them, sometimes followed by several others too Sad

I mentioned the accident to my boss today.

At the time he was driving about 5 ft off the back of a transit, with pretty much zero visibility or stopping distance.

He agreed with my points about driving too close, but didn't seem to connect them with his own driving.

I wouldn't have liked to have been involved in that incident on a bike! Looks a bit squishy  :\
