First time in ages I was out when it was all scary and dark, was riding with a friend on his 1300 Honda, he peeled off at a given point and I rode a few miles home. I was amazed at how poor the headlights are on my Fazer 600 (2001) a candle would have thrown out more light. Lenses are clean, bulbs not blackened in any way and correctly adjusted. They were that poor I stopped and checked to see if I actually had them working, they were. Any suggestions on replacement bulbs would be a great help. :eek
The boxeye headlights are atrocious unfortunately - I tried a whole manner of bulbs and in the end just fitted HID's which made them nearly as good as a standard foxeye lol
Spooky! The last couple of nights I've had to go home via some really dark and to be honest dangerous country roads due to the motorway being closed. It certainly made a point out of reminding me how crap the boxeye headlights are!
I've fitted nightbreakers to my fz1, and they are really good, but do they work on the boxeye? (the reflector is a bit naff so I'm led to believe)
Or do I Ned to tale the plunge to HID?
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!
I guess it depends on how much you want to spend?
The above is the cost of the bulbs and maybe a £3-5 connector. HID's are like £50?
HID's would be better but I can't comment on the difference
Change your tinted visor for a clear one! :lol
