what is the most miles you have done in 24 hours?

I did 550 miles on my FZ1 from near Cologne back to Weston in just under 8 hours, no way I would do 1200 in one go on that bike, when I got home I wanted to drop the bike in a skip I hated it that much

(I quickly got over it, and love it again)

Presumably 1 1/2 hours of that was on the ferry? - not withstanding time spent faffing either side of the ferry that's an average speed of 72mph? Pretty good going!
Someone sent me a postcard picture of the earth. On the back it said, "Wish you were here."

1001 in 21 hours.
you can do it, crossing germany can be accomplished quite quickly if you keep it sane around 100-120mph.

800 miles in 28 hours after missing the ferry from Rosslare to Cherburg.
Cork - Rosslare -Ferry- Pembroke - Dover -Ferry- Calais - Angers, 2 up and  2 ferry crossings on a fully loaded Fazer 600. Rained all the way from Pembroke to Bristol. Your trip is possible in theory but you need to take a few things to take into consideration.
1. Are you used to trips in excess of 600 miles in one day?
2. Can you maintain a high level of concentration for very long periods of time?
3. Are you used to going without sleep for 20 hours at a time?
4. Is your bike capable of at least 250 mile between refills?
If you answer no to any of the above then I would suggest you do not attempt. it.
