So,
I went to Berlin with 8 other mates for a stag do this weekend and all I can say is 'amazing'
What a fantastic city, with very friendly people, not many English there (which was nice tbh!)
Prices were similar/ slightly cheaper to England for food and drinks,
And the women- holy moly cow, stunning, just absolutely stunning women
If you have an opportunity then go there, you will not be disappointed!

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - strawberries in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming - WOO HOO! What a Ride!"
I first went to Berlin for the 2006 World Cup with my then girlfriend. We fell in love with the place and ha e since returned 7 or 8 times, and another few visits to various places in Germany. I spent my 30th birthday there, watched the Spain v Holland game in the teirgarten and proposed to my now Fiancee I front of the Brandenburg Gate. We go at least once a year now. Easy to get to, nice weather, lovely people and food and the BMW mottoradd factory is well with a visit. If you have never been, it is a wonderful destinnaltion. Nice ride there too
Not quite sure what to do with my early mid-life crisis. Ideas on a post card to P.O.BOX 150...
Punkstig, that sounds like a good reason to go back then
never done the beer tour as I have always been with my good lady. At this stage we would be doing it to have a go on the odd bike rather than the tour.
The car mall is worth a visit. Just remember to take your credit card if you want to buy a Bugatti or roller. We took in a Hertha v Dortmund game at the Olympistad once too, best stadium I have ever been in, and I have been in a few. The museums are great too, try the jewish one. Sony centre too... I could go on all day. I foccin love Berlin!!!

Well obviously as this was a stag weekend it was more about drinking than seeing the sights, but for those that don't know the beer tour is a big vehicle the size of a big 4x4 along the sides are 4 bike saddles with pedals and a direct drive train to the rear axle so 8 people pedal power the vehicle, (there was a bigger one for about 16 people, there was 9 on ours!),one of the tour operators steers the vehicle and there's a beer pump in the middle, so drink as you cycle.
There's also a stereo system which you can hook your iPod up to, we were listening (and badly singing) to lots of queen, stones, and AC/DC!
It was fuckin knackering, my legs still ache but I'm not a fitness kind of guy!
