no idea? but on my FZ6 it's under the tank, undo the 2 cap head screws at the front and the tank hinges up and the battery is at the front.

Get the spanners!!!

Seriously, there must be a guide somewhere but under the seat's usually a good place to start

Its under the rider's seat. You need to undo the 2 allen bolts at the rear of the seat then it will slide back.

You should be able to download the owners manual as a PDF file from the web. I know I have done, but can't remember where from off-hand. Should be easy enough to find tho. Smile

You would have to find a website dedicated to the model of bike that you have to be able to download the proper owners manual or service manual.

If one exists it would probably be called an owners club, and they would have a proper download section with lots of manuals to download.

:rolleyes :lol

If you dont want the hassle of lifting the tank everytime you charge the battery then its easy to fit an Optimate permanent lead which has a built in fuse & a waterproof cap. I have the FZS 1000 where the battery is under seat but have routed permanent lead to emerge at back of pillion seat on nearside-they come up on ebay for about a fiver from M&P etc
