Ive seen the NGK CR8E & CR9E plugs recommended depending on where you look. The CR9E being the cooler plug.
The plugs in mine at present are Denso U24ESR, they are quite sooty and they look like they have been in many a year, but the bike runs well enough on them.

Haynes manual says NGK CR8E for FZS600.
Or Nippondenso U24ESR-N, which sounds a lot like your current plug.
Incidentally the CR9E is recommended for YZF 600 covered by same manual.
I think the cooler plug is recommended for continuous high speed operation but I've also seen that fazers have come with 8's and 9's factory fitted so I don't think it's a biggie.
Incidentally last time I services mine I bought CR9 EIX iridium plugs (£5.60 ea. from Aceparts in Sittingbourne) but didn't notice much difference apart from I'd just fitted new plugs and air filter. Still, for that price I don't think it was too bad and they last for ages..
I'm fairly sure the last time I replaced plugs I ended up with CR8E's which I acquired from a local shop, they didn't cost the earth - £5-£6 each? - this was almost a year ago though
Most of my riding is carried out between 80 and 90 so I suppose that's OK!
I just replaced some CR9E's with more of the same and after around 5k miles the plugs were in good condition! (apart from rust on the outside nut caused by blocked drain holes!)
