Just to add, I knew I had my test around Burton-on-Trent and the time of day so I went over a few weeks before although I didn't know what route I would be taken on and drove the s**t out of the place driving as I would need to ride, probably looked daft doing lifesavers out of a Ford Kuga.
It worked though, managed to remember all the speed changes and island approaches which gave me more time to remember how to ride the bike correctly. Got through with 3 minors, hesitation when joining the A38 (no way I was pulling out infront of a big van!), missed a shoulder check to the right and a late indication (almost as I changed lanes) but overall felt good on the bike. Passed my test at 11am 13/6/2012, bike delivered 5pm 13/6/2012, wife was pleased (not!).
Its easy to say after the event but do try and relax, it will make you feel better and also just before you set off tell yourself - "Just ride the f**king bike!"
Good luck with your next attempt, remember you only fail if you give up.
Steve.
