Hi buddy,
Welcome, I've just (re)joined after a long time away myself and have to say it's great to be back!
You're right about the original can and pipe system rotting off the early Fazers and I can tell you that I bought a stainless pipe system from eBay (SandyBikeSpares) which came with all the gaskets to replace the manky header pipes. I was quite scared about changing the pipes if I'm honest, but I do recall I was armed with a big hex key set, spanners, hammers and beer (please note that I was NOT planning to ride, just summon the courage to do the job at this point!) and it went better than I expected. I now have the original stainless can on it (bit heavy, but there you go, complemented with some fab stainless headers too, so the whole exhaust system looks great.

Pity the rest of the bike looks like shoite, but hey, one bit at a time.  Big Grin

Hope you find yourself a good clean example - let the other members know of any you're looking at and we'll pitch in as we're not shy.

Cheers,
fish.
