For Sale: 2002 fzs600, 20k miles, FSH, blue, 33bhp kit

Hey all, I've had to make the difficult decision to sell my 2002 blue fazer it's standard other than 33bhp kit, heated grips, huger, fender extender and datatool alarm. Is in great condition, tax and mot till june and 20k on the clock. It's got seven stamps in the service book prior to me buying, I bought it at 16k and and have done 2 oil/filter changes and had the valves done on it about 500 miles ago. Selling as want to upgrade my car to a sensible diesel (booo hiss!!) I'd like about £2400 for it as it's a very well looked after and tidy example. Thanks - I appreciate the honesty. out of interest what is your opinion on the value of a 02 fazer these days? If I'm way off perhaps I should reconsider? I paid more than I am asking, and I came to the conclusion that the 33bhp kit is worth a couple of hundred to somebody who needs one! Online those with 20k seemed to be around 2.2-2.5k in similar condition/mileage so thought I had pitched it right.

A quick searched showed me that some of the more expensive FZS600's on same mileage and condition are still only at £2k and they're from a dealer with a warranty.

I hear what you're saying about the 33bhp adding value but you'd be better off selling that separately as extras don't really add their true value to the sale price unless you strike it lucky and happen to find a new rider looking for that bike with £2k+ to spend and need a kit.....miht take a while.

We need to see pics as already mentioned but £1900 is for a very very top end version in great condition these days. At the end of the day though, if you find someone who falls in love with it and has hte cash then it may sell, i've seen that happen before

It does look very clean and in great condition. The contrast of the blue bike with a white winter background makes for great pics by the way!!

Depends if you want the FI international certificate - took me a while to decide but in the end decided better have it than not, and risk police taking bike off me or worse my licence! ...I understand your dig of course!
