The 'air-flow is needed' argument is also false: If you take a stationary FZS600 and run the engine for 30 minutes guess what happens .... The radiator fan starts!! :rollin 

And the fan draws in air to cool the water!

and that is the answer to my question,you need air flow to cool the engine,no air no cooling no matter where the air comes from
