No power to ignition
#1
Hi all. Have just purchased a  project 600 foxeye 03 model to go.alongside my r6.. bought on spec rather stupidly and was told although it was dog rough it ran well and had full mot. Well....it won't even start as seems  there is no power to ignition. Changed to a new battery and have indicators and hazards working and nothing else, no lights , horn or start up. Checked fuses.and all OK. Has anyone had similar or any ideas.
Cheers

Do the clocks light? If they do what happens when you press the starter button?

I'd start by checking the continuity on the wiring to the right handlebar.

Hi. Cheers for reply. Nothing on the clocks other than indicators. I have a spare set of clocks to go on

Hi. Cheers for reply. I have spare clocks to go on and another kill switch so I will be looking at the wiring at weekend . I'm hoping its just a simple thing

Most likely corrosion in the connectors under the left fairing infill panel is effecting the dash. The black box under the tank houses the connections to the ignition switch and handlebar switches. You will need to check all the connectors in there as they csn also suffer from corrosion.
