Time clock reset
#1
I have a 2005 Gen 1 FZS 1000

The clock resets each time I turn off the ignition.  Undecided

I remember speaking to someone and it was suggested that it was poor wiring that probably came about when the alarm was fitted.

Anybody had the same thing happen.

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Sometimes a failing battery causes the clock to reset on start up. When you try to start the voltage can drop below the level required and the clock resets.

Fully charge the battery, or go for a good ride. wait about 1 hour after charge, and then check battery voltage, it should be at least 12.7 volts.
Measure the voltage at the battery.
