Is there actually a place to install bobbins on the rear of the fz6 as am struggling to find a slot for them? or are people using those paddock stands with L grips on the swingarms?

You've posted this in the FZS600 section and not FZ6. Assuming you've got an older FZ6, then it doesnt look like it has holes for bobbins. If youve the more modern FZ6 S2, then that machine has threaded holes for bobbins at the rear of the swingarm. I dont know about the FZS600.
